We will be hosting a FAFSA informational session on October 27 @ 6 pm for students in 11th and 12th grades and their parents. Juniors and Seniors who are planning to attend college in the future are highly encouraged to come. Please see the details in the posted letter for more information!

Here is a letter that is being sent home today with students regarding our upcoming Halloween celebrations.
GHS homecoming is being moved to school due to weather conditions. Homecoming is outdoors on the concrete playground area. Students should enter Greenview Elementary doors upon arrival and will be directed to the dance area.
This afternoon our Jr High Girls basketball COOP w/ Illini Central is playing games in Greenview! The games begin at 4:30! All are welcome to attend, a reminder masks must be worn and children need to sit with parents! We are looking forward to watching some good basketball!
Tomorrow’s K-5 field trip to Indian Creek Farmstead is postponed due to weather.
Avanti Gondola sandwiches will be ready for pick up 5:30-7pm. When picking up orders pull up to High School Doors and state your name and we will bring your order out to you. If you have questions please call the school.

This evenings High School Volleyball game versus Cornerstone has been rescheduled to 10/20 at home.
Tomorrow Friday October 1st students will be in remote learning. Campus is CLOSED for 48 hours as we will be using strong cleaning chemicals. All students that travel to other schools will continue to go to school. Please email rheavner@greenviewschools.org with any questions.

Fall Picture Retakes will be this coming Monday, October 4th. If your child was absent on that day or is getting retakes, we will be doing them Monday morning. We will also be taking Pre-K pictures.

Friday, September 24th will be an 11:30 student dismissal. Teachers and staff have trainings they will be attending in the
Monday, September 20th the HS School Volleyball team will take on IC at home. The team is raising money for Coach Ronica’s nephew who was in an accident this summer. The team is asking everyone to wear Green as this is the color for spinal cord awareness. This will be a good night to support a great young man and a great cause.

Tomorrow morning all students should be dropped off at the elementary doors and head towards the flag pole to gather with their classes.
We will meet at the Flag to start the day and Honor the Heroes of 9/11 and those who went through so much that day.
Students will enter the building and get breakfast after the short ceremony.
Community members are welcome to join us if they like just please be mindful of social distancing.
