We are trying to finish up student registration for the new year. PLEASE get online and sign your students up :) Students cannot start the year until they are registered. We can set up payment plans or work with families if money is an issues but it is important to get students registered. New families to our school will need to come in person to sign up. Reminder that online registration is open until August 7th on TeacherEase. You can pay fees online but if you would prefer to pay in person you can do that during office hours 8:00-2:00- Mon-Fri. We would prefer new students/ families to call and set up a time to come pick up a packet. The school number is 217-968-2295. If you have taken a packet with you we would prefer those turned in by August 7th if possible.

We are getting excited for the beginning of the school year! We have a few updates for our families before the school year begins:
*We are going to host a Meet The Teacher/ Open house for students on the evening of August 14th. 2024 from 6:00-7:00 PM. We encourage students/families to come and drop off supplies in their classrooms or lockers and meet their teachers for the 2024-2025 school year. Please bring up your health update form and turn it into the HS office!
*HS students who signed up for LTEC classes will start on August 14, and will need to be at the school at 7 AM for the bus.
*Schedules are available for students on Teacher Ease. Paper copies will also be available during the Open House on August 14. Students who want to request a schedule change will need to complete the form on our school website (greenviewschools.org).

We will be doing some maintenance and upgrades of our technology and computer systems. Any Google logins or emails of former staff or students will be no longer able to be used by the end of August 2024. Registration for the school year has opened up online! Families of returning students can now register before August 7th. New families to our school will need to come in to the office to register Monday-Friday 8:00-2:00.

Attention Jr High Baseball families:
Bulldog Jr High baseball will begin practicing Monday, August 5th, start time will be announced as we get closer to the date. Players should expect a daily practice until games start for the season.

Tomorrow at 4:30 the members and families of the Jr High & High School boys basketball team will meet at the Frosty Cow to have some ice and honor a few of our players! Ice cream will be provided for those in attendance! We are proud of our Bulldogs!

The CIA Daily Bread Program is offering community service hours for high school students who are in need of hours this summer. Daily Bread operates out of the CIA building Monday-Friday from 10:45-12:00. Students will be filling food containers for home deliveries and serving in house guests. A free lunch will be provided to students who get involved. If interested please contact Pam Rouse- 217-415-7400.
The Greenview Give and Take Shop at the Presbyterian church is also offering community service hours for HS students that want to help move and sort clothing this summer from 9:00AM-12:00PM on Mondays. If you are interested you can contact Joyce Doggett at 217-414-8979. This is a great way to give back to your community and easily get service hours for graduation.
