Marbold Heritage Festival This Weekend!

We have officially transitioned our student information system from InformationNow to TeacherEase. Parents/guardians with children in 1st-12th grades who provided an email address during registration this year should be receiving a welcome email. This email provides directions for setting up a parent login in order to access your children's classes and grades. If you have issues with your login, you are able to reset your password on the TeacherEase website directly. We will have a good pick up Saturday morning from 9-10. We have watermelon, corn on the cob, pineapple & red potatoes. It will be 1st come 1st serve. Unfortunately we do not have any meat for this pick up. Please message us if you have any questions. We are thankful to our volunteers and the Ce real Illinois Foodbank for getting this program together for our community!

We will be hosting a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) informational presentation on September 21 @ 5:30 pm in the school library. Any Senior that is planning to attend college after graduation is highly encouraged to attend with a parent/guardian. This free presentation will provide valuable information about how to apply for financial aid, what information you will need to apply, and dates of application. The attached letter was sent home with students last week, but please review for more details regarding this event.

You now have the ability to check your child’s school meal account balance online, as well as make payments with your Visa or MasterCard. The system will automatically access a $3.00 convenience fee per payment. In addition to helping the school take advantage of the latest technology, this service is a great convenience to you. By utilizing www.EZSchoolPay.com, you will not have to wonder if the check you wrote for meals actually made it to school and your children will be assured that meals will continue uninterrupted. Features and Options: • Send payments faster and directly into your child’s meal accounts: Payments are credited within 10 minutes. • Mobile applications: EZSchoolPay is available from your device’s app store and are available for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. Receive alerts of low balances, make payments for your child’s meal account. • Low Balances: Receive alerts when your child’s balance drops below a certain balance. If you would like to take advantage of any of the features mentioned above, you must create an online account with www.EZSchoolPay.com. Getting started is easy! Visit www.EZSchoolPay.com. The website will guide you to create an account and link your student(s) to the account before entering a credit/payment. You will need your Student(s) ID# to set up an account. Tomorrow is the 1st Day of school! A few reminders: This evening open house 5:30-6:30! Tomorrow students may enter the building at 7:50 through the Greenview Elementary Doors! Elementary families are welcome tomorrow to walk students to class but please understand this is the only day we would prefer this to happen. Students need to get back to the routine and in the groove of a great day at school! Families may send lunch money along in an envelope with students names or may send a lunch along with a student. If families need help with food please contact the office we will not let a child go hungry. School is dismissed every day at 3:00 pm! Now that we have the majority of the school air conditioned we can extend the learning day. We are so excited for another year with our Bulldogs! If we can help please do not hesitate to reach out!

High School Students who are signed up to take LTEC classes at Lincoln High School start class tomorrow, August 17. Students need to be here at 7am to catch the bus to Lincoln in the morning. Please reach out if you have any questions!

Our pre-kindergarten program does not start until Monday August 22nd, 2022. We have had several questions about this. Mrs. Everson will be at open house tomorrow night.

The music department would like to remind students that have instruments that you can bring those with you during the open house tomorrow evening 8/16/2022- 5:30-6:30PM. You can drop them off in the band room.

Help spread the word! Tuesday, August 16th we will be holding an open house from 5:30-6:30! Students can come & meet teachers and staff. Students may also bring school materials to drop off for the year. We are so excited for the return of the Bulldogs! We have done some great work on the building and community members are welcome to come and check it out! If you have not yet registered please contact school asap so we can make sure everyone is good to go the 1st day!

Greenview STEM Club Camp starts tomorrow! Just a reminder to those who signed up for STEM Club Camp the dates are Monday, August 8 through Thursday, August 11. The times will be from 8:30 to 10:30 AM on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Wednesday will be from 8:30 to 11:00 AM because we were able to get the Star Lab from SIUE to visit us. Please enter through the high school doors. We are looking forward to an exciting week of hands-on science activities!
