It’s Bitty Bulldog Cheer time! This Saturday the Bitty Bulldog Cheer Squad will preform between the JV & Varsity games vs Hartem. The game Saturday starts at 6:00 pm. The Bitty Bulldog Cheer program is open to girls in PK-5th grade. There is no cost for the program this year. Bitty Bulldog Cheer will practice this Friday from 5:00-7:00 pm. We ask Bitty Cheer participants wear red and black Bulldog Gear to the game this Saturday. Please contact school if you have questions. We are looking forward to seeing the Cheerleaders this Saturday!
Reminder there is open registration today for tball, Baseball and Softball (if we get enough girls for teams) from 12p-2p at GHS in the library. We are looking forward to another great summer of on the fields!
The Chess team bus will arrive at the Greenview Fire House at approximately 9:00 pm and the bus will be escorted back to the High School by the fire department! Upon return to school there will be a meet and great with the team in the lobby! Thank you to the Fire Department and we are excited to celebrate our Bulldogs!
Today at the Belleville West sectional the Greenview High School Chess Team came away with 2 victories and has most likely advanced to the State Chess tournament! We will have a parade around the Village of Greenview this evening when the Bulldogs return! We are so proud of the Bulldogs and will update everyone when we get the official notification from IHSA!

Tomorrow Friday, January 27th the Varsity Basketball Bulldogs will hold the annual Military Appreciation Night. The game will start at 6:00 pm. We ask everyone attending to wear read white and blue! All Veterans will get free admission and we ask them to participate in a special pregame ceremony. The Bulldogs will wear Special Military theme uniforms for the game to honor Americas hero’s. We hope you can all join us for this great event!

There will be a free food pick up tomorrow, Wednesday December 21st from 8:00-10:00 am behind the school. We have meat, tomatoes, pineapple, oranges, carrots and boxes of non-perishable food. This is open to residents of Menard, Logan, Mason and Sangamon Counties. There are no income requirements to participate we just want to share with anyone interested. If you are unable to make the food drive and would still like to pick some up please reach out to school and we will do our best to get a plan together. We appreciate all the support of our food pick up program!
Tomorrow evening the JV & Varsity Bulldog Basketball team will take on the Illini Central Cougars in our Blackout Cancer Game! The Bulldogs will be wear the black uniforms at home for the contest vs IC. The Blackout Cancer Shirts will be available for purchase $10 a shirt, all proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. There will also be a donation jar for the fundraiser as well for anyone wanting to support the fundraiser. Please consider joining us for this great night at the gym!
The day is here! Our new beautiful tree has been planted and tonight we will light it up! We will gather at 6:00 to turn on the the lights! 6:00 pm - Greenview Village Christmas Tree Lighting at the Park. Please note the tree is in a new location on the northeast corner of the park. There will be hot chocolate and cookies thanks to the Greenview Park committee! A special treat the Frosty Cow will be open as well. Please join us for this great event!
The Christmas concert is tomorrow December 12th! Please consider joining us for a wonderful evening of holiday cheer!
