Reminder food pick up at the bus barn 5:30-6:30 this evening for anyone that could use it. We have ground beef, apples, potatoes and eggs.
We will have a food pick tomorrow Wednesday March 23rd from 5:30-6:30 at the shed by the bus barn. We thank Central Illinois Food Bank for the generous donation. This is open to folks that live in Menard, Logan and Mason County. No ID needed for pick up. We will do our best to accommodate as many folks as we can. We can provide each vehicle a supply of food for 3 families. Please contact school if you have any questions.

The Avantis sandwiches have arrived from the art club fundraiser. Mrs. Swaar is passing them out in the high school lobby for those coming to pick their order up. We appreciate all tremendous support of the art club!

Letters were sent home to students earlier this month with information regarding our Spring State Assessments. High School Students may leave early on April 13 after the PSAT/SAT if they turn in a signed permission slip before testing. Tomorrow is a red & black day! Everyone should wear red & black to celebrate the 8th grade girls playing tomorrow evening in the regional championship game! The Bulldogs will play at 6:00 pm at home in our gym! Tomorrow we will have a pep rally at 2:45 to honor the young ladies. All community members are welcome to come to school for the rally! Our #1 seed Greenview 8th grade volleyball team plays Tuesday evening at home in the Greenview Volleyball regional. The Bulldogs take on St. Agnes at 6:00 pm. Please wear red and black and come out and cheer on this great group of young ladies!
Per CDC updates masks are no longer required on buses or on campus. If people would prefer to continue wearing them they are absolutely welcome to.
We are moving the JH Volleyball matches that were scheduled for 2/24/2022 @ Greenview @ 6:00PM to Friday 2/25/2022 @ Greenview @ 5:00PM. This is out of an abundance of caution with potentially hazardous weather incoming tomorrow. We are celebrating our 8th graders that evening and look forward to watching the girls play!

Tomorrow Friday, February 18th Greenview CUSD #200 students will be elearning due to weather. Students will not attend class on campus. Teachers will reach out to families with work students need to focus on. School will resume on Tuesday, February 22nd as school is closed Monday for Presidents Day. Please use caution if travel is needed as road conditions are poor. Stay safe and warm!
With the forecasted weather for tomorrow Thursday, February 17th Greenview CUSD #200 will be in remote learning. Teachers will be in contact with families about student work. Please stay safe and warm!
Tomorrow night is a BIG night! There will be no admission cost for the game:
-We will honor our seniors between the JV and Varsity game. There will be a small reception after the game with cake and drinks as well.
-The biddy cheer performance will take place at half time of the JV game. The biddy cheerleaders will get their shirts tomorrow at school. The shirts are with and red. The cheerleaders should be in the little gym at 5:45.
-The Menard County Farm Bureau $100 1/2 court shot will take place at half time of the varsity game. All in attendance will have a chance to hit a shot and take home $100 dollars!

Important COVID information
We have some important updates to share:
We are aware of the ruling in Sangamon County and are trying to decipher what and how this applies to us. We will have some updates tomorrow afternoon to share with our community. Please be patient as we just don’t have all of the answers folks may want.
With the weather that’s gone on and COVID issues our high basketball schedule has some big changes:
Monday- home vs Springfield Lutheran

Thursday- @ Lowpoint Washburn
Friday- Senior Night home vs Havana
Saturday- ECIC Tournament
We are holding our Biddy Cheer Clinic this week! This will be no cost as we have had some very generous sponsors. Practice will be Tuesday evening 5-6 and Wednesday evening 5-6. A note will come home Monday. The cheerleaders will preform at 1/2 time of the Friday Night JV game on 2/11.
