Art Camp starts tomorrow- PLEASE drop students off at the high school doors. Art camp starts at 8:30 please do not send kids in until staff opens the doors.
The food pick up will be at 9:00 am - 10:00 am tomorrow morning at the shed by the bus barn. This is open to residents of Menard, Logan, Mason & Sangamon Counties. If you are unable to attend please contact us we will do our best to get food for anyone that could use it.
We will have a food pick up from 9:00 am - 10:00 am on Monday, August 1st. The food will be at the shed behind school at the bus barn.

We are ready for graduation & promotion! Both will take place on the front lawn of GHS.
8th grade promotion will begin at 7 pm Friday, June 3rd. 8th grade students should be here by 6:30 pm.
Senior Graduation is Saturday, June 4th at 11:00 am. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the Class of 2022.
There will be seating available 1st come 1st serve. Families are welcome to bring lawn chairs if they would prefer. The programs will be recorded and shared at a later date. We are very proud of our students and look forward to a great weekend celebrating them!
Report Cards are ready for pick up! Families can pick them up 8-2 at the office Monday-Friday at the office.
Graduation practice is tomorrow Wednesday, June 1st. Graduates should wear their cap and gown and be here at 10:30. Please message Mr. Hoerbert or Mrs. Hobbs if you have any questions.
We have received a large volume of food from Central Illinois Foodbank to distribute to the community. We will have a food pick up behind school at the shed Wednesday, June 1st from 5:30-6:30.
This is open to all residents of Menard, Mason and Sangamon Counties, no income verification or identification is required. This is open to anyone who could use some food.
We are limiting pick up to 3 families per vehicle, we are trying to help as many as we can. We thank all who work hard to make this program possible. Please message us if you have any questions
Tomorrow baccalaureate services for our GHS graduates will be held at the First Baptist Church @ 7:00 PM. All are welcome to attend this service.
We want to send a reminder out to parents of our 6th-12th grades students that we will be going on a field trip tomorrow 5/26/2022. We will be stopping for lunch with a couple of fast food options and your child will need to bring along some money for lunch.
This morning at about 9:20 the school held a lock down drill with the Greenview Police Department and the Menard County Sheriffs Department. We are happy to report that the lock down went well and we learned some great information from it. We thank the Greenview Police Department and Menard County Sheriffs Department for their outstanding dedication to keeping our students and staff safe!
