Please spread the word! Due to incoming winter weather Greenview #200 will dismiss at 11:30 today. All activities will be canceled this evening. The Varsity basketball game against Deland-Weldon will now take place at 3:00 pm Monday afternoon. The park committee dinner fundraiser will now be Monday as well. Military Appreciation Night will be rescheduled for another game. Stay sage and warm this evening!

Tomorrow Friday, January 17th the forecast in the afternoon is not looking good. We want to let families know there is a very high chance school will dismiss at 11:30 am. We ask to make sure families have a plan together in the event we must call out early. If we end up calling off this will be a day we will not have to make up. We appreciate everyone working together to keep students and staff safe.

We ask families to observe the health of your students, we had a great deal of students out sick today. Flu and other illness is rampant.
If your child had a fever today please do not send them to school tomorrow. If you have to give them Tylenol or Ibuprofen to lower a fever to get them through the day, please do not send them to school.
If your child was vomiting or had diarrhea please keep them home the next day.
PLEASE do not send sick or feverish students to school. We want to do our best to limit the spread of the illness. Please encourage hand washing, good bed time routines and a good diet. We hope we can leave these nasty germs behind us all quickly.

Today Jet Burlison took 3rd place at the Pekin High School tournament! We are so proud of Jet! Keep working hard! We thank Coach Hild for his hard work this season as well! Great job!

As we continue in to the winter sports season we have a few reminders for all:
There is no standing in the corridors or corners of the gym. This will be enforced. It is for safety and to allow people to move between the gym and the cafeteria or hallway. Please work with us to make sure we keep the gym safe during games.
Students younger than 6th grade MUST have an adult there responsible for them. Do not drop off students younger than 6th grade alone at games. This is a safety issue. If you have young students at the game please keep them with you and make sure they do not impact other spectators experience at the game. Unsupervised students will be redirected back to families that bring them.
Please remember to do your best to remain positive at games. We have the best fans in Bulldog Country and want to remain classy. It’s easy to get excited and worked up over a game but remember why people come out- to cheer on the Bulldogs! We appreciate the great support this season and are excited to continue watching the students play!

Congratulations to our JH/HS students of character for last month! We are very proud of our students!
