The Biddy Cheer performance will be moved to Tuesday February 11th. The cheerleaders will practice this evening from 5:00-6:30. They cheerleaders need to be at the game at 7:00 pm on Tuesday.
Tomorrow school will dismiss at 11:30 for a teachers workshop.
Val-O-Grams order forms will go home today.
Tomahawk Conference High School Scholastic Bowl meet at home will go on this evening.
5th/6th basketball games vs Athens this evening is canceled.
Tomorrow night the Bulldogs take on Illini Central at home. It is Ag Night and the CIA will be serving world famous Larry Smith Chili. The Menard County Farm Bureau will be doing the $100 half court shot. It will be a wonderful night in the community.

Today Thursday February 6th school will start at 10:00 am. It will be a 2 hour delayed start. L-Tech is cancelled today. School for students that travel to Springfield is canceled. Pre K will start at 10:00 am and dismiss at 12:30. CBE students will be picked up 2 hours after normal pick up times. Take your time and get to school safely!

The weather forecast is not ideal for tomorrow and the likelihood of snow and wind for tomorrow afternoon continues to increase. I think we will be ok in the morning but families should be prepared for a 2:00 pm dismissal if conditions deteriorate. We want to give families a heads up to have a plan together. Let us hope the weather does not happen! Stay warm out there!

The kindergarten students and Mrs. Jacobs talked about predictions and did a poll for Groundhog Day. We are proud of how hard they worked. We are pleased to report Butch the Bulldog left the Dog House this morning and did not see his shadow! Early spring this year!
Tomorrow is favorite jersey day in honor of the Super Bowl on Sunday! You can wear the gear of your favorite team from any sport! Let’s have a fun last day of January!
A BIG day for the 8th grade volley team! The Bulldogs took 2nd place at the Zion tournament in Lincoln! Great job to these young ladies!
What a GREAT spelling bee! Congratulations to our Champ Heather! We are so proud of all our Bulldogs who worked so hard at this event. Thanks to Mrs. Kolves for getting this pulled together. Well done by all!

A reminder tomorrow school is not in session for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Day. There will be a Varsity Basketball game vs Deland Weldon starting at 3:00 Pm. The JH volleyball team takes on Illini Central starting at 5:00 for the 5th/6th grade team with 7th grade and 8th grade to follow. The park committee is serving a pulled chicken/ pulled pork dinner starting at 4. Let’s pack the gym to support the teams! One admission gets you in to all games!
