Tomorrow, 8/23, the HS volleyball team will be hosting the Meet the Bulldogs starting at 6:00. We will recognize JH baseball players, JH & HS golfers, and JH & HS cross country runners to begin the night. We’d love to have everyone there! If you still have health update forms from the registration process we ask that you please get them turned in to the high school office tomorrow 8/16/2024.

This afternoons home Jr High Baseball game vs Lincoln Jr High is canceled due to rain. We are working to reschedule and will let everyone know.

Important Updates- Tomorrow 8/13/2024 starting at 7:00 AM the front parking lot and entrances to the school will be closed for roadwork. We ask all parents dropping off kids for practices to do so in the back of the school or by the track and please be cautious of slow moving equipment. LTECH students you may park your cars in the back of the school just tomorrow 8/13/2024 and you will load and unload in the back of the school. Tomorrow evening Greenview CUSD #200 will be hosting a Meet The Teacher/ Open House. Students are welcome to drop off supplies in their rooms/lockers. The front parking lot will be OPEN for use by that time. Parents are highly encouraged to drop off health update forms to the high school office at Meet The Teacher night!! Health Update forms need to be turned by the first day of school 8/15/2024. We look forward to seeing all our Bulldogs!

Tomorrow any students needing community service hours can meet at the Greenview Elementary Playground at 8:00 am and help spread the new playground surface. We are upgrading to have the rubber surface like the Greenview Village Park. We sincerely want to thank Rohfls Implement company for unloading pallets today with their forklift! We are thankful for all the great support they provide our school!

Any high school student interested in taking Spanish through Lincoln Land College this year should reach out to Mrs. Hobbs ASAP. All high school students are allowed to take this course if you meet the LLCC criteria. This will be an online course for our students. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have interest.

Good morning! We are trying to finish up student registration for the new year. PLEASE get online and sign your students up :) Students cannot start the year until they are registered. We can set up payment plans or work with families if money is an issues but it is important to get students registered. New families to our school will need to come in person to sign up. Reminder that online registration is open until August 7th on TeacherEase. You can pay fees online but if you would prefer to pay in person you can do that during office hours 8:00-2:00- Mon-Fri. We would prefer new students/ families to call and set up a time to come pick up a packet. The school number is 217-968-2295. If you have taken a packet with you we would prefer those turned in by August 7th if possible.

Greenview CUSD #200 is looking for an aide to work in the special education department and travel with students to a Petersburg program. If interested please reach out to Mr. Hoerbert or Mr. Heavner. This position is I'll be open until filled.

We are getting excited for the beginning of the school year! We have a few updates for our families before the school year begins: *We are going to host a Meet The Teacher/ Open house for students on the evening of August 14th. 2024 from 6:00-7:00 PM. We encourage students/families to come and drop off supplies in their classrooms or lockers and meet their teachers for the 2024-2025 school year. Please bring up your health update form and turn it into the HS office! *HS students who signed up for LTEC classes will start on August 14, and will need to be at the school at 7 AM for the bus. *Schedules are available for students on Teacher Ease. Paper copies will also be available during the Open House on August 14. Students who want to request a schedule change will need to complete the form on our school website (greenviewschools.org).

Attention all former students and staff of Greenview CUSD #200: We will be doing some maintenance and upgrades of our technology and computer systems. Any Google logins or emails of former staff or students will be no longer able to be used by the end of August 2024. The jr high baseball meeting will take place in the Greenview elementary commons area this at 6:00 pm instead of the ag room. Open field this evening is canceled due to muddy conditions.

Registration for the school year has opened up online! Families of returning students can now register before August 7th. New families to our school will need to come in to the office to register Monday-Friday 8:00-2:00. PLEASE call ahead as we are completing some renovations inside the school over the next week.

Get your teams of 4 together for our annual golf outing for the Greenview Athletic Department. Anyone is welcome to join us for a fun morning of golf tomorrow at Country Hills on the 27th @ 9:00AM.
