Registration for the school year has opened up online! Families of returning students can now register before August 7th. New families to our school will need to come in to the office to register Monday-Friday 8:00-2:00.

Baseball open field this evening is canceled due to the field being too muddy
There will be a cross country team meeting this evening at 6pm in the little gym for anyone interested in participating in the upcoming season.
Boys and girls in grades 5-12 are eligible to join the cross country team. If you are unable to make it this evening please reach out to the office during school hours at 217 968 2295.

Attention Jr High Baseball families:
Bulldog Jr High baseball will begin practicing Monday, August 5th, start time will be announced as we get closer to the date. Players should expect a daily practice until games start for the season.
Jr High Baseball is open to players in grades 5-8. All players must have an up to date physical on file, if you have questions on physicals please reach out to Paula in the high school office. Families of players interested should fill out the following link:

The back to school newsletter is now available on our school website and paper copies can be picked up at Casey's here in town. This includes the school calendar, important dates, and school supply lists. We hope that all our Bulldogs are having a great summer!
Tomorrow at 4:30 the members and families of the Jr High & High School boys basketball team will meet at the Frosty Cow to have some ice and honor a few of our players! Ice cream will be provided for those in attendance! We are proud of our Bulldogs!
The CIA Daily Bread Program is offering community service hours for high school students who are in need of hours this summer. Daily Bread operates out of the CIA building Monday-Friday from 10:45-12:00. Students will be filling food containers for home deliveries and serving in house guests. A free lunch will be provided to students who get involved. If interested please contact Pam Rouse- 217-415-7400.
The Greenview Give and Take Shop at the Presbyterian church is also offering community service hours for HS students that want to help move and sort clothing this summer from 9:00AM-12:00PM on Mondays. If you are interested you can contact Joyce Doggett at 217-414-8979. This is a great way to give back to your community and easily get service hours for graduation.
Tomorrow at 7:00 am it will be our 1st summer Bulldog Run for students entering 5th grade and up! Please reach out to our Cross Country or Track coaches if you are interested in joining. This is an excellent way for athletes to get in great shape! Get out there and run Bulldogs!
Senior graduation is today! The ceremony will be held in the gym beginning at 11:00 am. All are welcome to celebrate this wonderful class of 2024!
As long as the weather cooperates we plan to have the senior parade around Greenview after the ceremony! Congratulations to a great class of graduates!
Graduation Reminders --
We have a big couple of days here at the school as we celebrate 8th grade promotion and HS graduation!
5/31/2024-
We will have mandatory HS graduation practice at 10:00 AM at the school. Students please wear your cap and gowns as we will have professional photos taken during the practice.
8th grade promotion is at 7:00 PM in the evening on the 31st - 8th graders please be here by 6:00 PM as we will have a professional photographer here to take photos. Then we will meet in the library to start lining up at 6:30 PM.

Congratulations to our new members of the Greenview HS Chapter of the National Honor Society! These students were voted in based on GPA and qualifications in the areas of service, character, and leadership. We are proud of our Bulldogs who strive for academic and character excellence!
