Next Friday, November 10th, 2023 @ 10:00AM we will have an all school assembly to honor Veterans Day. This assembly will be open to the public and we welcome all veterans and families who would like to attend. We will have refreshments following the assembly for guests in the library.

Today Wednesday, November 1st and tomorrow Thursday, November 2nd we will be holding parent teacher conferences after school from 3:00-7:00 in the evening. Friday November 3rd there is no school. We hope you can attend conferences to review student progress!

Our school had a wonderful time celebrating Red Ribbon Week last week! Congratulations to the students who won the poster contest!

The Halloween Parade today will take place at 2:30 down Palmer Street in front of school for grades K-5. All are welcome to attend and watch the students parade in Halloween costumes!

Tomorrow Friday, October 27th there will be an 11:30 early dismissal for staff training in the afternoon. Tomorrow evening Friday, October 27th our Fall Jr High Dance will be held for students in grades 6-8 from 6:30-8:30 in the cafeteria. Only Greenview students are allowed to attend the dance. We look forward to the students having a fun night!

A reminder that this week (October 23-27) is Red Ribbon Week at Greenview CUSD #200! All students, staff & community are welcome to participate and encourage youth to remain drug free!

Tomorrow is Trunk or Treat at the Park! A few things to remember- -the event will begin at 5:30 at the park for Trunk or Treat! All are welcome to join! -there will be hot dogs and drinks at the CIA building free of charge! -Dancing will be at the pavilion during the event. It will be a great time getting down to spooky and fun Halloween tunes! -a prize will be given to best to the best decorated vehicle! -All are welcome to have a trunk, we will start the setup at 4:30 for the vehicles. Seniors who are planning to attend college in the future are highly encouraged to tune in with a parent/guardian. The meeting link has been emailed to parent and student emails, so please reach out if you did not receive one. Letters were also mailed to parents a few weeks ago with detailed information. This year we had 3 students selected to participate in the Bradley Honor Choir on October 14: Nevaeh Becker, Heather Godsil, and Aubry Delay. Congratulations to these students and thank you for representing the Bulldogs!

Unfortunately this mornings end of season golf match for the Jr High ad High School will be rescheduled to another day, conditions are too rough out to play this morning.

Tomorrow at 2:45 our Jr High Cross Country runners that are heading to the State tournament Saturday in Bloomington will take the Walk of Champions down the hallway! Community members are welcome to attend and wish the team well as the represent the Bulldogs at State!

Jr High Basketball for grade 5-8 will have a parent meeting this Friday, October 13th at 6:00 PM. There will be an open gym to follow until 7:00. Basketball practice will begin Monday, October 16th and run from 6:00-7:45 pm each night of the week. 6:00-7:45 pm will be the normal practice time for the team. Players will need a pair of gym shoes and any basketball equipment they would need to participate. All players MUST have a physical on file before they can practice with the school. Please contact the office if you have any questions about physicals.

Jr High Cheer practice will be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week 5:00 - 6:30. All Cheerleaders must have physicals on file to participate. Cheerleading is open to grades 6-8. Please contact the office if you have questions.
