The Junior High Track parent meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025 at 6:00 in Mrs. Thompson's room (room 101). All parents are encouraged to attend. Track practice for new athletes will be held on Wednesday, March 5th after school. The first official day of track practice begins on Tuesday, March 11th.
Tomorrow Friday February 28th is an 11:30 dismissal for teacher trainings in the afternoon.
Monday March 3 there is no school in observation of Casimir Pulaski Day.
Letters have been sent home with students with information about upcoming state testing dates. Students taking the ACT or PreACT may leave after they complete the test, as long as they bring back the permission slip signed by their parents. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns! Elementary IAR Dates (3rd-5th grade): March 19-20 and March 25-27. ISA Dates: 5th grade - April 1-3, 8th grade - April 8. Junior High IAR Dates (6th-8th grade): April 1-3. PreACT Date (9th-10th grade): April 10. ACT Date (11th grade): April 9
Tomorrow at 2:30 we will honor the Jr High Chess team with a walk of Champions in the Jr/Sr High at 2:30!
The team will travel to Peoria Friday and Saturday to compete at the IESA State Championships! Families and community members are welcome to join us to cheer the chess team on! Go Bulldogs!
A reminder all Spring athletes must have a current up to date physical or they are unable to participate/compete in any IESA/IHSA event/game/activity. There are no exceptions to this rule. If you have questions please reach out to the office.
The Village has been able to redirect water to the school! THANK YOU!!! We will be able to finish our normal schedule today.
The village of Greenview is currently without water as a Watermain has been damaged. We are beginning to serve lunch at school, but we may have an interrupted day and need to have an early dismissal if we cannot get a fix as we do not have working toilets. We will send out more updates as we learn more.

Please use caution around school this morning as the company running fiber optic cable in the Village is working on Palmer street! Let's get our Bulldogs to school safely!
The GHS WYSE team competed in the Regional Academic Challenge at Lincoln Land Community College this month! We are proud of our students for participating in this competition. Heather Godsil received a 2nd place in English, and will go on to compete in the Sectional Competition in March. Congratulations to Heather and our other students who competed in this event!

A HUGE night at school!
There will be no admission to the game tonight vs Hartem- all students should be supervised tonight as the school will be busy please do not leave younger students without someone responsible for them.
The fundraiser pulled pork / pulled chicken dinner for the 7th grade will start at 4:00 in the cafeteria!
Biddy cheer will preform at half time of the JV game. Biddy cheer leaders should be at school by 6:00 and will be given a shirt when for tonight when they arrive.
Seniors will be recognized between the JV & Varsity game. Please join us as we honor this great crew!
At half time of the varsity game there will be the Menard County Farm Bureau half court shot! This is always a highlight of the year and we always look forward to this fun event.

With the winter storm moving through today and this evening all events & activities at Greenview CUSD #200 are cancelled - stay safe and warm!
With the uncertainty in weather patterns - tomorrow Wednesday February 12th Greenview CUSD #200 will be using an e-learning day.
The school is open this evening in the event students need to come up and get any needed materials.
With Lincoln & PORTA closed tomorrow as well Greenview students that attend those programs will also not be in attendance.
