Greenview's Elementary STEM Club Camp starts next week!

"Thank you for signing your child up to attend Greenview's STEM camp! We have lots of fun, hands-on science activities planned for next week.
Just a reminder the dates of STEM camp are August 7-10 and the times are from 8:30-10:30. Please do not drop your child off earlier than 8:20AM. Please wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothes for lab activities. Also, long hair should be tied back.
Please enter/exit through the outside doors on the east end of the JH/HS hallway. There will be signs on the doors. Students will start their day off in Mrs. Morris' room for check in.

Online Registration has opened! Once you login to Teacher Ease, you will be prompted to begin the registration process. If you have never logged in to Teacher Ease, please reach out to shobbs@greenviewschools.org. A reminder that you can pay online (with a convenience fee), or by check/cash to the office. We will have a Registration Night on August 8 from 3-7 for anyone who needs help with the online process. Miscellaneous registration forms (physical, dental, eye, etc...) are available on the school website under Documents. Please reach out if you have any questions!
Tomorrow, Monday July 31st will be the 1st Greenview Jr High baseball practice of the season. Practice will be 9:30-11:00 on the Bulldog baseball field. Players should have the needed equipment for baseball. Players can be boys and girls in grades 5-8. Players must have a current physical on file before they can practice.

This evenings Jr High Baseball meeting will take place in Mr. Scheer's room. Please park in the back of school and enter through the ag shop. The meeting starts at 6:00 and it is very important families attend to cover the rules and expectations for our players for the upcoming season.
PE Uniforms will be mandatory this year for all JH/HS students who are signed up to take PE on their schedules. New uniforms can be purchased during registration for $17. The order forms will be available at the HS office or on the school website under Documents. If you have old uniforms, these can be used in place of buying new ones. Please reach out if you have any questions!
School Registration is quickly approaching! Our online forms will be available on Teacher Ease from July 31 - August 11. Payment can be accepted online, or by check/cash at the HS office. If you pay online using a card, there will be a convenience fee. Also, if you want to set up a payment plan, you will need to come to the HS office. We will be having a Registration Night to help individuals with the online registration process on August 8 from 3-7pm. All new students will need to register in person. Students/Families coming to this afternoons library program will need to enter behind school at the music room/portable doors. You will then need to go through the little gym to the main hall up to the library. We apologize for the disruption during the construction project. Update - the summer reading program scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, July 19th, has been postponed to next week, July 26th.
This is due to construction happening in the front of the school.
The August/September newsletter is on the school website (Menu, Documents, Newsletters), and there are paper copies located at the Greenview Casey's. Lunch menus will be on Teacher Ease closer to when school begins. Please reach out to the school if you have any questions!
This Saturday at 9:00AM is the 2023 Bulldog Athletic Golf Outing at Country Hills Golf Course here in Greenview, IL. We are looking for some more 4 person teams to join us. Letters were sent home last week regarding our new online registration process for the upcoming school year. A copy of the letter can be seen below. Supply lists, physical forms, health requirements for each grade, etc... are all posted on the school website (Click Menu, Documents, Registration Docs). Please reach out to the school if you have any questions. We are excited to transition to this new process!
There will be a mandatory parent and player meeting on Monday, July 10th at 6:00pm in the school library for any high school girl that is planning on playing volleyball this season.

Next week July 3-7 we will be doing maintenance in the building and we may not have access to the office. If you need staff please email them as they may not be on campus.
There will be no summer school summer next week or reading program in the library next Wednesday. There will be Library hours today Friday June 30 from 1-3. We hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July!
Parents of players interested in playing in grades entering 5th-8th need to email baseball@greenviewschools.org to let the coaches know they are wanting to join the squad. Please email jersey size, pants size and a number request for the uniform. There will be a team meeting in mid-July and practice will start July 31st!
