We have begun working on the season and need to start planning for the boys to start practice. Parents of players interested in playing in grades entering 5th-8th need to email baseball@greenviewschools.org to let the coaches know they are wanting to join the squad. Please email jersey size, pants size and a number request for the uniform. There will be a team meeting in mid-July and practice will start July 31st! We would like to remind families that we will not have summer school on Monday, June 19th, 2023 and that it will resume on Tuesday, June 20th, 2023.

We need four person teams to start signing up for our annual Greenview Athletics Golf Outing on July 15th, 2023!! We are also in need of hole sponsors from our local businesses or families. Saturday, June 3rd, 2023- 11:00AM HS Graduation Ceremony - students please be at the school by 10:30. Monday, June 5th, 2023- First day of summer school at Greenview Schools. Families should of received detailed information for students that are planning on attending. Greenview Youth Sports 10U team is in need of an umpire this evening as there is a high school athletic awards program and the usual umpires are there. The game starts at 6:00 pm. Our Girls track team is coming back to town from the State Championships! The Greenview Fire Department will be leading the ladies on a trip around the Village at roughly at 5:50 starting around Chili Bears! Please step outside if you can show these awesome young ladies some appreciation! We are proud of our Bulldogs! Great work ladies!

We celebrated our wonderful staff this week! We are thankful for the many hours they put in to help our students! A huge thank you to the Dawg Pound PTO, Alliance Bank, GHS National Society, Nut Hatch Hill BBQ Company, Babes on Plum and everyone else who stepped up to make this an awesome week! We ❤️ our Bulldog Staff!

Thank you to the National Honor Society for serving breakfast during staff appreciation week! The induction ceremony for our newest member will be tonight at 6pm in the small gym. Families are welcome to come support our students at this ceremony!

Spring Music Concert- Tonight at 6:00PM. All are welcome to come out and support our music department! Graduation Important Dates: HS Senior Baccalaureate Service- May 21st, 2023 @ 4:00PM @ Greenview United Church - caps and gowns are recommended. The public is welcome to attend. Preliminary student schedules for JH and HS students for the 2023-2024 school year have been given to students. Please go over these schedules with your children, and sign off on them before sending them back to school. We will have an official copy of their schedule when you register your children for school later this summer. This copy will include more detailed information, such as the teacher and location for each class. You will also be able to access schedules in Teacher Ease once they are updated this summer. In the meantime, reach out if you have any questions or concerns!

Please help spread the news! Coach Aldridge will be holding open gym tomorrow Sunday, April 30th and next Sunday, May 7th in the high school gym. Boys and girls are welcome to attend. Open gym is for 4th-8th graders from 6-7 PM. From 7-8 open gym will be for high school students. Please consider joining coach for a great time playing some basketball!

PLEASE HELP SPREAD THE WORD!!!! We have made some repairs to the west parking lot. After school today please do not enter or exit that area of the campus. It will be closed until the early evening. Thank you for helping with this. Student drivers will be dismissed at 2:50 today to help us manage the flow of traffic! All folks picking up students should enter/exit the center entrance on Palmer Street.

Congratulations to Greenview 8th grader Macie Willis on being awarded the DAR Youth Citizenship award! The qualifications are Honor, Service, Courage, Leadership and Patriotism. Macie is a wonder young lady who makes our community a better place! Keep up the great work Macie!

Greenview Drama Club is excited for the spring play! Find out who killed Mr. Body, where and with what Friday and Saturday April 4th and 5th. Tickets will be available at the door. Admission is $7 with popcorn, water and carnations available for purchase. Curtains open at 7:00. Please join us in the high school gym for a great time!
