There will be a free food pick up tomorrow, Wednesday December 21st from 8:00-10:00 am behind the school. We have meat, tomatoes, pineapple, oranges, carrots and boxes of non-perishable food. This is open to residents of Menard, Logan, Mason and Sangamon Counties. There are no income requirements to participate we just want to share with anyone interested. If you are unable to make the food drive and would still like to pick some up please reach out to school and we will do our best to get a plan together. We appreciate all the support of our food pick up program!


Tomorrow evening the JV & Varsity Bulldog Basketball team will take on the Illini Central Cougars in our Blackout Cancer Game! The Bulldogs will be wear the black uniforms at home for the contest vs IC. The Blackout Cancer Shirts will be available for purchase $10 a shirt, all proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. There will also be a donation jar for the fundraiser as well for anyone wanting to support the fundraiser. Please consider joining us for this great night at the gym!


The day is here! Our new beautiful tree has been planted and tonight we will light it up! We will gather at 6:00 to turn on the the lights! Please consider joining us for this fun Greenview tradition. There will be cookies and hot chocolate compliments of our awesome Greenview park committee and the Frosty Cow will be open. 6:00 pm - Greenview Village Christmas Tree Lighting at the Park. Please note the tree is in a new location on the northeast corner of the park. There will be hot chocolate and cookies thanks to the Greenview Park committee! A special treat the Frosty Cow will be open as well. Please join us for this great event!

Tomorrow Wednesday December 6th we will have a food pick up from 9-11 behind school. We have milk, chicken, apples, grapes and oranges among other foods. This will be 1st come 1st serve until supplies run out.
If you are unable to make the pick up at those times please call school and we will do our best to set up an alternate time. We appreciate everyone’s support of our community food program! This is open to all who live in Menard, Logan, Sanagamon & Mason Counties. No income requirements to pick food up. Please call school if you need further information 217 968 2295!

Tomorrow the Christmas in Greenview event returns! There will be over 18 vendors set up at school with some wonderful items for purchase! Please stop by and support local merchants during this holiday season! The event will run from 9:00-2:00, we hope you can swing by!


Our Bulldog Backpack Program is in need of some help. We send food home with students on weekends who could use some extra help to get by. We will gladly take any help we can get and appreciate the generous support we have had over the years.
Here are some examples of what is needed:
Main Meals:
-individual mac and cheese
-cans of ravioli, spaghetti o's, etc.
-ramen noodles
-canned soups
Drinks:
-juice pouches or boxes
Snack foods:
-granola bars
-Jello cups
-pudding cups

-fruit cups

-oatmeal packets
-mini individual boxes of cereal
Please consider donating. It's a great program that helps many families here at school. All donations can be brought to the elementary office.


Our annual Christmas music concert is coming up on December 12th. We look forward to hearing some great holiday music. The K-5th students will begin at 6:00 PM and the 6-12th students will be after that at 7:15 PM. Our music department will be sending home a formal letter with more details tomorrow 12/2/2022.

A few reminders-
-Tomorrow Monday, November 21st & Tuesday, November 22nd school dismisses at 2:00 pm for parent teacher conferences. Elementary conferences should have been scheduled with teachers & JR/SR High Conferences are open for families to come in and meet with staff. If you have more specific questions please reach out to school and we will be happy to arrange a meeting with staff.
-There will be no school Wednesday, Thursday or Friday this week in observance of Thanksgiving Break.


We wish our hunters good fortune tomorrow! A reminder to families of students that are hunting please remember to call in and let the office know! Students that are absent due to hunting are excused but need to make sure they complete all needed work for classes.
